At Avaliqo Real Estate Lending, S.R.L. (hereinafter, "Avaliqo") we understand that the protection of your personal data is essential. This Privacy Policy describes what data we collect, for what purpose, how we handle it and what your rights are, in accordance with Dominican Law No. 172-13 on the Comprehensive Protection of Personal Data.
1. Data controller
The controller of your personal data is Avaliqo Real Estate Lending, S.R.L., registered in the Mercantile Registry of Santo Domingo under No. 128493-SD, with tax ID (RNC) 1-32-98475-2 and registered address at Av. Winston Churchill No. 1099, Torre Citi, Floor 12, Piantini, Santo Domingo, National District, Dominican Republic. Contact email: privacy@avaliqo.com.
2. Data we collect
We collect the data you voluntarily provide when subscribing to the early-access list: full name, email address and language of contact. In addition, through cookies and similar technologies, we may collect technical information such as IP address, browser type, operating system, pages visited and browsing time.
3. Purpose of the processing
We use your data to: (i) send you information about new funding rounds and real estate projects available on the platform; (ii) respond to your enquiries; (iii) analyse site usage and improve our services; (iv) comply with legal and regulatory obligations applicable to the Dominican securities market.
4. Legal basis
The processing is based on your explicit consent, granted by accepting this policy when submitting the subscription form. We may also process your data when there is a legal obligation or a legitimate interest compatible with your fundamental rights.
5. Retention
We keep your data for as long as your subscription remains active and during the legal periods that apply once it is cancelled. You can request to be unsubscribed at any time by writing to privacy@avaliqo.com.
6. Data sharing
We do not sell or transfer your personal data to third parties. We only share information with technology providers acting as data processors (email delivery, web analytics) under confidentiality and security agreements. We may also share data with competent authorities when required by law.
7. Rights of the data subject
You can exercise your rights to access, rectify, update, object to and delete your personal data by writing to privacy@avaliqo.com, stating your full name and the email address you registered with. We will respond to your request within a maximum period of fifteen (15) business days.
8. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or alteration. However, no system is completely invulnerable, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect legal, technical or operational changes. The current version will be published on this same page, indicating the date of the last update.
